How To Read Fiction Like An English Major
Session #3: The 5 Master Keys To Unlocking Difficult Literature

Welcome to the third session of our members' workshop, and I'm so excited to release something I've been compiling for years.

When I first started reading literature, it felt like dealing with a foreign language full of stories I could not appreciate and characters that sounded downright alien. I would get lost in a thick wall of descriptions while struggling to keep up with the dialogue. And for me, those who knew how to read literature seemed like a different breed of people who were just naturally good at reading.

However, after studying literature for 5 years in my English degree while also teaching what I've learned online for close to a decade, I started to see patterns, rules, and key concepts that opened up a whole new dimension of reading. This is what you'll learn in this month's workshop: The 5 Master Keys to Unlocking Literature.

We'll tackle common problems like:

  • Not knowing what to look for in literature
  • Getting confused when we read a thick page of descriptions
  • Losing track of key characters/plotpoints
  • Finding it impossible to navigate experimental works of fiction

And these 5 concepts will clarify common pain points, but more importantly, they're here to articulate the value of literature and inspire a lifelong love for reading fiction.

If you're on board, access this session (along with two other sessions) via our Cold Brew Tier with our early bird offer here:

Happy learning! And I'll see you next month!
