I'm Hosting My First Live Workshop! (And How You Can Join)
One thing I've missed since I left academia is teaching in person.
Over the past 5 years, I've hosted non-fiction writing workshops at Universities across Australia, acted as a Humanities consultant for a corporate client and even gave a talk at TEDx Oxford in 2025. And recently, one thing became abundantly clear to me: my best work comes from interacting with my readers/audience, and today, I'd like to invite you to our first live event on A Mug of Insights.
On Friday, February 28th, at 5:00 PM EST (Saturday, March 1, 9 am for Australia), I'll be hosting a live workshop: Read Like You're Busy: The Lean TBR System, and it'll take you through my exact process of planning my reading for the year.
It'll take us an hour + a 30-minute Q&A where I'll address all your questions. However, given that I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to speak in this FREE workshop, the capacity will be capped at 100 people.
Once you're confirmed to attend, we'll cover:
- Why your TBR sabotages you
- My lean TBR framework: how to curate 12-20 books that matter in 3 key categories
- The decision tree for "what to read next" to deal with reading paralysis
- 30 minutes of live Q&A on your specific challenges
But if you can't attend on the day, a recording will be uploaded to our workshop library so you can learn at your own pace.
I'm beyond excited to bring my live teachings to A Mug of Insights. Get your notebook + coffee, click the button below to register, and I'll see you on the 28th!
